Fouad Wahba, born 1896, got primary certificate 1911, and diploma in industrial embroidery section from the school of Arts & Crafts.
Well practiced in printing and stone sculpture. He was an intimate friend to the writer BADIE KHAERY and to the musician SAYED DARWEESH, since Mr. Fouad Wahba was responsible for the drawings & paintings of the theatrical scenes related to "Hoda, theatrical act.
Artist Fouad Wahba continued his artistic life course as a drawer & painter in "AL- SHAAB MAGAZINE," and in "PRINTING OFFICE, "WISCOVICH" as a political caricaturist in "AL- MUSA WAR NILE MAGAZINE," also in "DAR AL-MUAED", "MORNING MAGAZINE", and" AL- METRAKA".
In 1924, Artist Fouad traveled to London where he got five diplomas in Arts during his four years study stay. He was appointed drawer in the Survey Organization, special drawing Section where he specialized in the paper money design & drawing, Post-stamps, and official stamps. He was the first colored stamp designer. He developed the Arabic & Persian embroidery to modern embroidery called "AL-FUAADIA EMBROIDERY."
